Setups Acoustic, Electric, and Bass.
A value-added setup, or service can make a big difference in how your guitar plays and feels. Our setups carefully adjust the action(string height)electric and bass, adjust the truss rod(neck relief, string height acoustic), and the intonation(tuning accuracy). We will identify any issues on your guitar and discuss them with you. We then will properly polish your frets, apply fretboard oil, and clean scratchy electronic parts.
Replacing a plastic nut with a Tusq nut is an easy upgrade to your guitar!
Nut Replacement
Try replacing a plastic nut with a Graphtech "tusq" nut. They are made of synthetic ivory and self-lubricate. This improves the tuning consistency and tone of the guitar. Works great with guitars that have trouble staying in tune. Popular with Squire and Epiphone models.
Fret Dressing
Levels the frets under tension. Then the frets are crowned and polished. Great for guitars or bases dealing with buzz caused by high/low frets. Requires a change of strings. Setup included.

Humidity can shrink the neck of your guitar. This causes the fret ends to protrude. Filing the sharp edges down is often needed for a more comfortable feel and you don't cut fingers
